Education Qualification :
- First class Bachelor Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
- Master Degree in Environmental Engineering/ Tech/ Discipline with 6 years research/ work experience in a reputed institution as relevant to the laws being administered by the board and/ or the mandate of the board.

General Conditions :
The H.P State Pollution Control Board can restrict the number of candidates to be called for the interview/ written test, if considered necessary on the basis of qualification and experience as prescribed in the advertisement by way of screening of applications. Those candidate wo do not fulfil the qualification at the closing/ last date of submission of application to the board may not apply and such applications if received shall not be considered. The date of interview shall be intimated separately. It is expected from the candidate to have knowledge of customs manners and dialects of H.P and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions, prevailing in H.P. The decision for the chair man H.P State Pollution Control Board shall be final and binding in the matters concerning this recruitment.
