Qualification : 1^st class M. Sc. Degree in environmental Science/ Chemistry/ Micro-Biology from a recognized university/ Institution.

1. Jr. Environmental Engineer 3 (posts)

Qualification : Preferably 1^st class degree in Environmental Engineering/ Tech./ discipline as relevant to the laws being administered by the board and/ or the mandate of the board.

Age limit : 18 to 45 years

Salary package : Rs. 7200

Term and conditions :

1. On the successful completion of one years of contractual assignment, the incumbents would be paid consolidated fixed emoluments of Rs. 9000 per month.
2. The applicants for the post of Jr. Scientific Assistant must possess Graduation in Science.
3. The engagement would be purely on contractual basis on year to year basis and may further be extended subject to yearly renewal which would be based upon the performance assessment/review of the candidate and continuity of the project against which the applicant is engaged. The maximum period for engaging the contractual appointee shall be that of the duration of the project. The selected candidates would be required to give an affidavit stating that he/ she shall have no claim for absorption in the H.P State Pollution Control Board on regular basis nor claim a regular pay scale of the State Board.
4. General condition: The HP State Pollution Control Board can restrict the number of candidates to be called for the interview/ written test, if considered necessary on the basis of qualification and experience as prescribed in the advertisement by way of screening of applications. Those candidates who do not fulfil the qualification at the closing/ last date of submission of application to the board may not apply and such applications if received shall not be considered. The date of interview shall be intimated separately it is expected from the candidate to have knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of HP and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in H.P
5. The decision of the chairman, H.P State Pollution Control Board shall be final and binding in all the matters concerning this recruitment
