Recruitment Procedure:

The Recruitment tests will be consisting of the following

1. Physical Efficiency Tests consisting of 100 Meters race, 800 Meters race, High Jump, Broad Jump and shot put.
2. Written Examination of the standard of 10+2
3. Personality Test.

Any increase in number of posts will be distributed in all district in prop oration to populitation:

The reservation of vacancies for various categories i.e. SC, ST, OBC, Sportsman, Home guards, Wards of Freedom Fighter etc. will be per instruction of the Government. The details about the category-wise reservation of posts from each district can be seen in the office of respective district Superintendents of police

Submission of application: The applications on the prescribed format will be submitted by the candidates on or before 1^st November 2008 up to 5.00 pm in the office of the Superintendent of Police of the District of H.P of which he is resident as per record. A processing fee of 100 only shall be charged from each candidates from the General Category and Rs. 25 only from each candidate belonging to the categories of the SC/ST/ OBC department of Freedom Fighters/ IRDP/ Wards of Ex- Serviceman in the shape of Bank Draft or I.P.Os. To be drawn in favour of Managing Director, Himachal Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation, Khalini Shimla-171002. Any application not accompanied by the requisite processing fee or not received by the last date for receipt of application will not be entertained.
