Vacancies : Recruitment of part time correspondents

Applications are invited for engagement of one part time Correspondent for District Kinnaur at Hqrs. Rekong-Peo (H.P). Firstly on monthly contract basis for a period of three months and thereafter on yearly contract basis for feeding of news items/ stories to All India Radio. Shimla/ Doordarshan Kendra, Shimla, News Service Division, AIR/ Doordarshan, New Delhi. The remuneration payable to PTCs will be Rs. 1500/- P.M. subject to certain conditions. In addition, telephone and conveyance allowance will be paid as per rules. Persons having residence at the above District Hqr. And possessing for following qualifications experience, age etc. may only apply.

Essential Qualifications : At least a Graduate with 2/3 years journalistic experience.

Age limit :

• Between 25 and 50 years relax able up to 55 years depending upon the suitability of the candidate.
• The persons retired from the Indian Information Service can be engaged beyond the age of 60 years provided they are found physically & medically fit.

Residence : Should have a residence at the District Hqr.

Desirable Qualifications : Experience in Visual Coverage.
